Troop Committee approves new Troop Handbook.

The Troop Committee approved the new Troop Handbook last night which went through a review and revision process during the past Scout year. The Troop Handbook contains specific details about what a boy-led troop is, how our Troop’s youth leadership position elections work, our Troop’s Behavior and Discipline Policy, protocol for Troop camp outs and activities, expectations for parent involvement with their boy(s) and much more.
I encourage you to spend a few minutes reading through the information and please do not hesitate to ask the Scoutmaster, an Assistant Scoutmaster, or a Committee Member, any questions that you might have.

Greetings and Happy New Year from everyone at Troop 9460. Our first Troop Meeting of 2013 will be on January 14th at 7:00pm at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in the basement. Hope to see everyone there!
Family Feast followup

Family Feast weekend was fantastic. Huge turnout by Families, Friends, Scouts and Scouters. Much fun was had by all. Troop Elections were held and the new Scout Leaders have been chosen by their peers for the year 2013. Thank you all for coming out to Fred C. Andersen Scout Camp.
